WONDERLAND
I still remember first camera ever, a blue Mickey Mouse Kodak Instamatic that my mother gave me when I was three years old. My true passion for photography was discovered in my pre-teens thanks to my father's influence. He took me under his wings as I watched him taking photos on his old Ricoh manual SLR. By the time I reached high school I decided to take photography more seriously.
The first class I ever took was under the critical eye of my high school teacher Mr. Fong who loved bragging that Leo DiCaprio was once his student and made me question whether photography was for me. Later, I had the opportunity to take night photography classes at Skyline College under Mr. Kerr, who gave me the confidence to continue on my journey. After graduation, I took a photojournalism class from Pasadena College. In my early 20's I took a few more photography classes at the Southwest School of Arts. Eventually, I found myself at the University of Batangas where I graduated with a BA in Mass Communication.
As I get older, I continue to learn and grow through my experiences which has helped me reflect on how I see the world through my camera lens.
I currently live in Seattle, Washington where I am finding my way through the art community within the city.
